Just as the hub is the vital point of a wheel, the Gospel—the good news of Jesus—is the vital point of our lives. This commitment is reflected in four key areas that we see clearly in Scripture:
1. Worship: We view worship as a lifestyle of reverence and adoration, acknowledging Jesus as our sovereign God in every aspect of our lives. 2. Discipleship: We are dedicated to the lifelong journey of growing closer to Christ through teaching, learning, and living His Word. 3. Service: We believe in committing our time, energy, and resources to building God’s Kingdom and serving others in His name. 4. Mission: Our mission is to make Jesus known to the world by sharing the Gospel locally and globally. And at FBC, we believe there are many ways to express this commitment and love to the gospel. And while our covenant wheel is not exhaustive, the demonstrations provide a strong foundation for understanding what a healthy, gospel-centered Christian should embody and practice. |
